Blackbeard won the Reserve Black Male Championships at the 2022 AOA National Show (Out of 36 black males) and the 2022 MAPACA Jubilee at almost 10 years old! Amanda Vanderbusch's comments were , "very very impressive", this is what happens when they are put together corrrectly - they hold up over time", and much more. Blackbeard is stamping his powerful frame on all of his offspring which is creating a powerhouse of breeding alpacas!

I could talk about this gorgeous boy forever! Blackbeard has a simply gorgeous head, an incredibly fine, dense fleece with amazing architecture, and talk about coverage everywhere, Wow! Add all that to a male with huge bone and a strong frame and you have yourself a truly unique true black herdsire. He also has a gentle personality as he is extremely easy to handle and work with even since he has been breeding. Blackbeard is passing on these traits to his offspring in a very consistent manner when paired with any female so far. A good friend referred to him as an "Impact Male" due to him putting his stamp on all of his cria.

Blackbeard's offspring are on the ground, hitting the shows and collecting banners across the country! Check out some of his amazing offspring on my site and add some of his a babies to your herd. With 122 (and growing) registered offspring, it is hard to find any of them for sale due to the desirability of his genetics!

This is the kind of male that I have dreamed about having in my herd and I feel extremely fortunate and blessed that God sent him my way when he did as he is one crazy amazing boy!

My favorite genotype. A dark breeder's dream. Just can't wait until he starts breeding!

Booty has it all. His fleece shows great density, fineness, high frequency crimp, . It's a joy to open up and show off. All this on a compact square frame. Plus, he is SO easy to handle.

Booty is registered true black, although he is roaning out. Now in his yearling year he is not only roaning but is also developing white spots. At the 2024 Buckeye Fall Fest Show he was judge compliance, color checked, and put in the multi class, which he won.

At the 2024 AOA National Show, Booty placed second in a class of 10 in his Halter class under judge Amanda VandenBosch.
At the 2024 Buckeye Spring Show, he placed first in a class of 3 in his halter class under judge Diana Timmerman. Also, at Buckeye, he placed second in a class of 8 in his Walking Fleece class under judge Arturo Pena.
At the 2024 Buckeye Fall Fest Show, he placed first in his halter class under Arturo Pena.
Then Booty won the Color Championship at the 2024 VAOBA Fall Derby and the Reserve Championship at the VAOBA Alpaca Expo!

Now as he is maturing into a breeding age male, he still remains a gentleman and is just a dream to handle.
